The folks at the Magical Education Council host another enjoyable summer-time Pagan Picnic.  Good food, good friends and a lot of pagan fun!  The cloudy weather predicted for the day was held off oddly enough until later that evening.

The events of the day including Yoga with Enafae Moore, Reiki with Dezdemona Gray,  Tye-Dye with the Tempest Smith Foundation and an awesome Nature Walk.  The event concluded with the House Elf Auction for Pagan Pride Detroit.  Nashan once again took to table tops and auctioned off some awesome House Elves who graciously offered up their services for a great cause.

Rids on the services of our House Elves went as high as $170 for a “date with a tall handsome stranger”, bidding for other services got heated up as well with most services going for $15 – $20.  Laughs were aplenty and good times were had by all.

In case you missed out, there will always be next year!  Just so you have an idea, I’ll share with you some of the going prices… 3 hours of yard work = $8, 3 hours of computer support = $25, and that really big batch of cookies went for $25.

We want to thank M.E.C. for once again allowing us to call Pagan Picnic our Elf Auction Home!  M.E.C. also hosts Beyond the Veil 2010 on October 23 at the MET Hotel (yes, the new name for the Troy Hilton) for $15.00 a person advance sales.

But before that, we hope to see you at Pagan Pride Day, Saturday, August 21, 2010 and after that is the Michigan Witches Ball – Black Cats and Pointy Hats 2010!
